The most important quality of your Rig must be it’s RELIABILITY. It must be verified and checked prior to any kind of navigation and specifically adapted and reinforced for ocean navigation.
A number of actions/upgrades can be brought (structural dimentioning, reinforcements, de-frictioning…) in order to achieve the highest levels of safety.
